“Little Women” is my favorite book and to see the writer’s perspective of the piece was something I didn’t know I needed to see. To see Louisa experience heartbreak, love, anger, and fear for herself and her family; and then use that experience to cultivate the beautiful classic I love brought me such a visceral experience.
What I didn't like
No matter how much I try to prepare myself, I will always sob for Beth.
My overall impression
This show broke me: As a playwright. As a brother. As a human being.
This may be the best piece of theatre I have seen in my entire life. It feels like this piece was written for me.
