The simplicity of having everyone on stage the whole show only enhanced the show’s experience and I LITERALLY wish I had thought of doing something like this! It was like watching a well oiled machine that made me think that if my play was a person, it’d want to grow up to be just like this play.
What I didn't like
The wedding dance was a little too long for an audience member, but I wasn’t even mad about it because everyone looked like they were having fun!!
My overall impression
Incredibly talented cast that upholds a really beautifully written, choreographed love story to Little Women and Louisa May Alcott. If you loved Little Women, I cannot recommend this show enough. I laughed! I cried, of course, and my heart ached for a queer woman stuck in the wrong time period — I related far too much. You could TELL the cast love what they’re doing, believe in the story.
