What I liked
I love Shanara’s spoken word and how she weaves it throughout the performance, and the way she brilliantly balances hard truths with humor and nostalgia.
What I didn't like
There seemed to be a technical difficulty, and never having seen the show I wasn’t sure what it was. Shanara didn’t skip a beat and continued giving her best like a pro.
My overall impression
Shanara Mouthpiece Sanders gave a powerfully impactful performance! She flowed artfully between prose and spoken word, dancing, singing, and unapologetically spitting truths. I’d gladly come see her perform again!
