What I liked
Two fantastic pieces of theatre, in under an hour. Laura Stribling tells full, wonderful stories, without any unnecessary bulk. So few writers have that gift.
What I didn't like
Wouldn’t have changed anything.
My overall impression
Both one-acts were brilliantly written, with a fantastic balance between being funny, poignant, and touching all in a very short amount of time. The strength and talent of both casts was evident, as they were all able to make the audience laugh just as easily and as quickly as they were to make us think. Kudos to writer/director Laura Stribling as well as actors Leandro Cano (National Zoo), and Alli Miller and Brynn Alexander (If I Fell).
