What I liked
The acting was beautiful. The material was served well by such a cast. The play was unpredictable, compelling and moving, from Brian Foyster’s presence and acting throughout the piece and the interactions that ensue from an incredible monologue done brilliantly by Eddie Kehler, and Kate Whitney a force of nature. Great cast
What I didn't like
As much as the intimacy of the space created such a great experience – I would love to see this done in a larger theater
My overall impression
Shining City was a spectacular production from beginning to end. It is plays like these and such acting that should comprise Fringe. It was great to be in such an intimate setting with such beautiful acting from an ensemble that obviously created such deep life that was moving for the entire piece. Grateful to have seen this play and I probably will have to bring others to see it again as well. Very well done. Favorite play of fringe so far.
