This young actress is spectacular in a solo performance. She really carries the show along and captivated the audience. This is a unique true story about a woman way ahead of her time, who was a leader of woman's rights and the first woman to run for president. The story was wonderfully compelling and Ashley Ford is a darling on stage. I loved this original work also by this up and coming playwright Theo Salter ...

Fun and very informative! Great performance from lead actress. Victoria Woodhull lived quite the life--so if you don't know her story, the show gives a good look into her life and the women's suffrage movement in the US....

Wonderful one Woman show. A fantastic tie between a period piece during the women’s sufferage act and today’s “Me too” movement. A strong performance and a great story. ...

A powerful, fascinating, and enlightening portrayal of Victoria Woodhull. Ashely Ford is magnetic on stage and delivers an outstanding performance that captivates the audience. Theo Salter's writing is cerebral and scholarly yet incredibly accessible. Both Ford and Salter do a beautiful job breathing life into Victoria Woodhull--the show is perfect for the 2018 zeitgeist and the #metoo movement. What an empowering and timely show! ...

Honestly, I did not know what to expect going into the show. I loved it! Ashley Ford commands the stage with her wonderful storytelling! A true professional! She is compelling to watch and gives a very moving performance! She beautifully embodies the characters! The show flew by because I was so entranced by the script, lighting design and of course, Ashley’s strong acting! Not to mention she tells a story that is so relavant to today’s society. Beautifully done by all involved!...

This “one woman” show was really surprising. I had no idea was I was in for. In all it was a really enjoyable experience. It was very sharp and seemed well rehearsed and researched. The actress did a really good job embodiying all the different characters and the message was clear. ...

Really well acted. This one person show draws you into the fascinating story of Virginia Woodhull, who I certainly had never heard of, but was an early feminist and free love advocate who was clearly well known at the time, and ran for president in 1872. The show is lively and funny and informative, and relevant to today....
