What I liked

As a one-woman show the stage was fully utilized and the energy was high. Props and costuming and stage direction was on point. The transition from character to character and time to time was also well managed.

What I didn't like

No complaints

My overall impression

This young actress is spectacular in a solo performance. She really carries the show along and captivated the audience. This is a unique true story about a woman way ahead of her time, who was a leader of woman’s rights and the first woman to run for president. The story was wonderfully compelling and Ashley Ford is a darling on stage. I loved this original work also by this up and coming playwright Theo Salter

SACRED FOOLS brings 3 new shows to HFF19
