My overall impression

This play is a babbling brook of subtle emotions brought to life by a glorious collaboration of inspired artists. It’s sensational lead, Adam Navas, delivers a nuanced performance as a man experiencing all the joys, angst and insecurity of romantic love through a series of poetic monologues. His words float in the air while dancer/choreographer Sarah Polednak molds them with her articulate body into scenes we can recognize from our own relationships. Meanwhile, Zo Haynes gives us the passing of time with her beautiful lighting design and musician Crash Richards steals our hearts with his moody original score. This play feels like a sad dream in a warm bed, a good cry in a bubble bath and betrayal delivered with laundry, straight out of the dryer. Definitely see it. Definitely love it. Definitely invite someone you love to see it with you.
