#SeeItLA Adrian Eli combines dance, humor and stark confession in this one-man show about coming out. He portrays a number of different characters beautifully, jumping from one to another with ease, sometimes at a frenetic speed. Eli leverages comedy to balance out some of his more dire and depressing moments in order to keep the over all feeling of the piece upbeat. Adrian Eli, with a personality so big he can literally fill a room with it. So engaging and captivating with his wild expressions and various personalities, recreating the characters throughout his life through his own mind is indeed beyond entertaining and above all inspiring.... full review

Blown away! Usually when I hear "one-man-show," I think "no thanks!" Why would I care enough about this person to watch them alone on stage for an hour? Baby Boy not only answers that question, it left me wanting more of the format. The story is genuine, at times heart wrenching, and consistently hilarious. On top of that - simply put - Adrian is really, really good. Beyond worth it!... full review

One of the most creative entrances I've ever seen an actor make ;) This is an artfully done show- polished and well-written. One of the most important things about a solo-show is feeling safe- can I trust you with an hour of my time? Do I want to JUST watch you onstage? Are you a good writer, actor... And do I need to spend 60 minutes hearing about your life? The answer to all of these is a resounding yes. Adrian is an energetic bundle of charming energy- a true triple threat- his characters are funny, but not obnoxiously over-the-top as is often the case in a solo show. The ending didn't go as I expected and I was floored and flooded with emotion, but then uplifted. WOW. It's a shame a single empty seat exists for this show- RUN, do... full review

Coming out stories of an autobiographical nature are always heartfelt, but Adrian Eli goes beyond that and shares his emotions from the depths of his soul. The fact that he has survived so much loss of loved ones and managed to stay true to himself fuels the energy of this show, not to mention how he emerges from his mother at the beginning of the show! From being the baby boy in his family, he definitely learned how to be adorable and lovable and uses those traits to engage the audience into every moment and story he shares.... full review
