What I liked
I enjoyed hearing how every side of the aisle was thinking at the time with an emphasis on what their race or sexual orientation was in determining the final effect.
What I didn't like
A play with a subject this complicated needs more rehearsal time and the cast working together to have a smoother relationship with each other on stage. The interactions between the cast members were not realistic in a number of the scenes. However, compliments to the entire cast for what they did accomplish in the time they did have to work together.
My overall impression
I felt the thoughts provoked by the author were timely. They brought out emotions that should be discussed in an open forum. Maybe a show like this can be a beginning. Any play that allows the audience to walk away thinking how to make the world a better place works for me.
