The expressiveness of their dancing
What I didn't like
The presentation of the performance should be more professional. While understanding that Fronge has a laid back vibe, I still think the person who came on stage before the performance to welcome the audience should be dressed more professionally. There was also an unexpected intimation that the tango community isn’t supporting Fri vent mainly coming to Tango. Many of us donated money to support efforts to mount the show. It was a little off- putting to hear that particular comment.
My overall impression
Earth and Fire Walking was a sensational presentation of the power and sensuality of tango. Tomas and Gimena are extraordinary choreographers. They share a profound and beautiful story through the language of dance.
