These are two of the most captivating Argentine tango dancers in the world; the dancing, the emotion, the costumes, the music… everything works! I also appreciated the mixed media: live music, recordings, projected images,
video, props. Very creative!
What I didn't like
The dialogue with the musician was sweet but a mimed interaction would have preserved a greater sense of mystery.
My overall impression
Tomas & Gimena are true artists! This performance is an incredibly touching display of their talent and passion. I felt completely transported the entire show. I had to see it twice!
