What I liked

I liked that the play took place in the two girls’ apartment. At home is where people are free to express themselves more honestly. I liked seeing how this tragic news affected these women in the many ways that it did. I liked the intimacy of it all.

What I didn't like

I think the acting could be improved a bit. I saw the play opening night, this is often a contributing factor. I thought the performances were too big at first, while trying to establish the familiarity between the two women. As the show went on, the acting quickly got more grounded.

My overall impression

The show was incredibly moving and funny. I was very impressed by the writing especially. The characters were 3-dimensional and grounded. Vicky’s words moved so well through drama and comedy. I remember my eyes welling up one second and letting out a laugh the next.
