The show was incredibly moving and funny. I was very impressed by the writing especially. The characters were 3-dimensional and grounded. Vicky's words moved so well through drama and comedy. I remember my eyes welling up one second and letting out a laugh the next. ... full review

So so lovely! I thought the writing was very balanced; the charming and comedic moments brought light even in its darkest scenes. It was an insightful and heartfelt glimpse into the day to day in the fight against cancer and how the realities of the disease are much farther reaching in effects. A beautiful story of strength and friendship. ... full review

STRONG hit upon the realities of female friendship, complete with Gilmore Girl-esque dialogue, while bringing us into an intriguing and heartfelt world--how do young people, who do not yet have families but are too old to be cared for by their parents--manage serious illness. ... full review

Beautiful performances by both actresses and a relatable and important topic. I think the general dialogue was well done, but if you continue to produce it after fringe, which I hope you do, I'd suggest a restructure- maybe a deviation from the linear storyline, or at least a big focus shift so that you tell the most interesting and important part of the story- to me this isn't the story of two bffs and one gets sick- it's the story of how the person who should've have rolled with the situation was the one who had to be picked up at the end. That's a very serious reality I've heard from friends who have gone through major illnesses and I loved seeing it explored, but I felt like the show included that, but didn't make it a big enough focus.... full review
