What I liked

There was such honesty and vulnerability expressed, especially during Melissa Ortiz’s passage of feeling like a failure. Even when one ensemble member was sharing a part of their own story, the entire group’s support fulfilled the simple confessions. The physicality of each actor throughout was specific and unique, highlighting breathtaking unison choices, including Giulia Blandino, whose reactive performance is a testament to the strength of the physical presence she brings to every role.

What I didn't like

While the individual palm lights added a sense of wonder and magic to the beginning, should the production expand, more of a lighting design would enhance the overall experience. (I believe this is an issue with the performance space’s limitations.)

My overall impression

Thoughtful, unified storytelling that utilized the existential text and themes best through the cohesion of the ensemble’s movement. The intimacy of the venue contributed to the open, unencumbered connection to the audience. Lovely work.
