What I liked
The premise and the lyrics were delightful. The staging made great use of the space, and the band was brilliant.
What I didn't like
Honestly it was ear-bleedingly loud in there. It could go down a notch for sure, but it’s so much fun it’s hard to even make that criticism.
My overall impression
Loved it. I have really enjoyed everything I’ve seen that has a Michael Shaw Fisher credit, and this was the third show of his I’ve seen, the first two being Werewolves of Hollywood Blvd and then Shakeslesque. Plus, he’s the only guy besides Toshiro Mifune that can really pull off a man bun.
