The production value was incredible for such a small space. The performers are electric and really having a good time, from the main vocalists to the zombie dancers churning out really impressive choreo. My favorite character was Kelly, played by Kristyn Evelyn (this woman has chops), but of course Alli Miller as Dr. Nimfa is sensational to watch.
What I didn't like
I could tell that this music is really good, but to be honest I had a really hard time hearing it despite an impressive use of choreographing around wireless mics. The band was playing at full volume, and in such a small space the lyrics were drowned out – so I had a little bit harder time following the story. I would LOVE to hear a cast album of this show.
My overall impression
As a first time Fringe producer I was tipped off that Michael Shaw Fisher/Cherry Poppins were the ones to see. I can now say I’m a big fan.
