What I liked
Don’t want to spoil anything, but there’s a dramatic moment about the way sharks are treated that brought tears to my eyes. Her simultaneous fear of and respect for sharks was powerful. An unlikely advocate. Also, the tuba twist!

My overall impression
You’ll never look at sharks (or tubas) the same way again! Stacy takes us on a relatable and heartfelt journey through her experiences from childhood onward. She does strong character work and has warm, friendly presence on stage. The fascinating shark facts punctuate her memory play with a dash of metaphor, and they’re also really interesting!
