What I liked
Anna and Burt brought extraordinary energy to every scene. The uses of the blocks were a nice flaire of creativity in each scene. The breeziness and fast oace (and the short runtime) of the piece, too, added to its charm.
What I didn't like
If anything, adding in even more of the cheeky metajokes!
My overall impression
What a fast, fun, and funny play! The energy from these two leaps off the stage, keeps you laughing and waiting for the next character or creative set transformation. The use of simple costume and props helps jump scene to scene and the myriad accents and characters lend a lightness that really makes this gothic tale a joy to watch. Bravo!
