What I liked
I loved the set! Loved the simplicity of the set design and how it could be adjusted with slight shifts. Anna’s dialects were AAAAAMAZING! The energy between both actors was alive and full of commitment. Pacing was just right. Loved it when Hyde came into the audience and played —-more!
GREAT SHOW!
What I didn't like
A few minor lighting adjustments would allow certain moments to be highlighted (allowing for subtlely deeper character development) . . . yes, I sometimes wanted to see MORE of Hyde’s face (the darkness, the madness)
My overall impression
GO SEE THIS SHOW. Da da da! Strap on your seatbelts and get ready for a joyful, mercurial ride into Victorian London. These two actors adeptly embody their parts (Burt, the wildly two-sided Jekyll & Hyde and Anna, an unbelievable number of varied characters with on-point dialects of every kind) with such talent and commitment you won’t want the action to stop for a second – - and don’t worry, it won’t. This show is a well-executed, unique piece of theatre and shouldn’t be missed!
