"Monday Morning" and "Cheese & Things"

What I liked

I am in awe how those sets were moved in and out of that small stage. Both plays had some very clever lines dialogue.

What I didn't like

Both shows felt less like plays and more like platforms for ideological debates. I really craved higher stakes and personal conflict between the characters, more than simply differing ideologies. The relationships did not feel like protagonist/antagonist, but rather two podiums on a stage.

My overall impression

Less like plays and more like ideological debates, both were engaging enough to stay attentive, but left me craving more high stakes drama.
