Review by EDWARD SALAS

June 15, 2018 certified reviewer
tagged as: unexpected · music · Darkly Comic.

What I liked

The songs were darkly beautiful and well performed. Not just the music but the choice of silence and the darkly humorous tension that created.

What I didn't like

Not sure if the death scene was too long, or I was just jealous.

My overall impression

The performance was wonderfully unexpected, well written, well performed and cohesively directed. It felt familiar, as if it were unraveling deeper notions of the characters in my own life. All the while it was extremely theatrical with an ambitious group of spot on cues. I would recommend this play to all.
