What I liked
I really liked having to wait in the coffee shop and I liked needing to walk to the office space. While I knew this was going to be a VR experience, I loved that it wasn’t the WHOLE experience- a great example of using the headset as a tool. Engaging us to discuss the relationship was also an excellent way to start diving into the details before the twist(!!). The “third act” was particularly great and thrilling.
What I didn't like
It’s all really good! Not much to critique… I suppose with a dedicated space and a bit more time to prep, it would be nice to see the next version of the “Closure Inc.” office space.
My overall impression
“What Went Wrong” is an excellent immersive experience. The whole thing from walk-up to walk-out is interesting and engaging. The audience is given great agency in the story, the technology utilized is a tool to tell the story, the twists are thrilling, and the running time is perfect.
