What I liked
I didn’t know the structure of the show until I saw it, so that was a little surprising in that it was mainly autobiographical monologues as opposed to an actual “play” format. However, I loved that we got to really experience each of the women’s lives in such a real, honest and firsthand way. It really opens your mind and heart to understanding and connecting more with other human beings and the acting was wonderful!
What I didn't like
From my understanding the pieces came to be from a workshop setting and what each individual wanted to write. However, as a show as a whole, there were a few pieces on a similar topic which I would have loved to have heard stories about other things when we just heard, though a different perspective, yes, but nonetheless experiences on a similar topic.
My overall impression
I was not expecting to be so moved, touched, shocked, surprised any feeling you could imagine, I felt that night.
