What I liked
Bill’s ability to balance comedy with a message is tonally perfect. He never hits you over the head with the point, but still gets it across in a very entertaining way.
What I didn't like
Perhaps some music while people are sitting.
My overall impression
“The Day I Became Black” is a spectacular example of what a solo show should be. It is hilarious, heart-warming, sad, and has a strong message. If you have an opportunity to see this show, you need to. It ought to be recommended viewing in today’s climate.
