What I liked
What a wonderful production! First, as we enter the theater, we hear the live percussion, just off stage (which will drive the whole play). Then we learn of the significance of Seneca. Then the play begins. Excellent delivery from all actors. Remarkable masks and head gear. The depictions of Hercules’ historic victories are a delight. I was impressed with the variety of battle stagecraft. Terrific work. Congratulations to director, cast, and crew.
What I didn't like
I wanted to hear some bass to balance out the higher-pitched percussion elements.
My overall impression
A great experience on several levels. Actors, masks, costuming, sound design, combat, use of space.
