What I liked
I knew nothing about Butoh and Yokko’s incredible performance has inspired me to learn more and think about incorporating more physical theater into my own work.
Yokko and crew, please come see our show at The Broadwater – The Woman is Perfected. Think you would dig it.

Nothing. It was fantastic.
My overall impression
An incredible, visceral, visually stunning, gut wrenching experience. I absolutely loved this and Yokko’s performance was straight from the soul. Medea is one of my favorite plays and both this adaptation and the performance were searingly brilliant, completely imprinted on my heart and mind after today.
