Unparalleled passion with complete physical and verbal commitment to the character.
What I didn't like
Not a thing.
My overall impression
The most emotional, moving experience I’ve ever had at Fringe. Yokko brings the story of Medea to vivid life by integrating a brilliantly choreographed Butoh performance with English monologue, which enables the Japanese artform to transcend the cultural barrier. It may be a “one person show,” but it has an intensity without peers in my experiences of the arts. See it while you can.
