What I liked

The choreography by Sarah Kruger was a stroke of pure genius given a charming and crisp direction that gave the show a layer of polish and made it feel like a finished product. Similarly, the music by Zachary Bernstein was so smartly-done and felt revisited to maximalize every moment with humor that worked and constantly kept the audience truly hanging on to every word.

My overall impression

Guy Picot’s vision is truly bright as this play tackles the age-old axiom of the “power of now” but lends the question, can only the promise of apocalypse have us live our lives in the best way possible? The play was one of my favorites in the Hollywood Fringe Festival with it feeling thoughtfully re-worked to make every moment the best it could be. I was very impressed by the level of commitment by the actors in demanding roles that required them to switch personas and costumes in a moments notice (on top of complex choreography to boot!) Truly a delight to see and I would gladly see this production again and want more dates!!!
