What I liked
The music was so well written and REALLY really funny. Sweetness and charm dripped from the actor/singers, who were perfectly cast, their quick changes were also mindboggling fast. They make the most out of the small theater, each transition was so well orchestrated. The band really made the show a tight and cohesive experience, they were the glue between the characters and all the locations we’re transported to. Disasteroid feels like a show that’s playing On-Broadway already and is just visiting a smaller stage for a workshop. These performers, the direction, the music are a pleasure to watch. Do yourself a favor and see this show!
What I didn't like
Marketing. I’m really bummed that I didn’t hear about this show sooner. I really don’t have any notes about the show itself, I had a blast.
My overall impression
What a fantastic show! The music was played by a live band who were excellent. The performers and their songs were performed at the highest level, you can’t help but laugh and smile the entire show. The direction was fantastic as well, each performer knew exactly where to stand in the black box theater so the entire audience had a great experience. My biggest note for this show is that their run is too short and they deserve an extension. I really hope this show continues to play for a long time.
