I saw this show on a whim meeting friends at 3 Clubs and, being a fan of magic and misdirection, I was very excited!
The show has a delightful balance of magic tricks and self-deprecating humor. The magic catches you off guard, ESPECIALLYTHEFINALE. This is a show worth checking out at Fringe!
Also, anything that uses Smash Mouth for their musical interludes is a perfect 10 in my book!
What I didn't like
During the show, they offer a shot of alcohol for one of their tricks and THAT SH*T WASNAILPOLISHREMOVER. I reunited with Satan and he applauded my failures as an artist.
Also, I’m mad at myself for not realizing “Coke and Mirrors” is a play on “smoke and mirrors” until just now as I was writing this review, but I ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed.
My overall impression
The Bad Boys of Magic are nothing but amazing! Volunteer to participate, order a drink, and enjoy this comedic duo’s brilliant act!
