What I liked

The music is wonderfully written, with especially clever and hilarious lyrics. The entire ensemble give spot-on performances with their character interpretations and powerhouse vocals. Finally, the direction and choreography by Corey Robinson fits perfectly in the intimate space of Three Clubs, and although the show runs at a rather fast-pace, nothing seems rushed or unintentional.

What I didn't like

My only “complaint,” if I could even call it that, is that I wish the quirky and catchy songs were longer. I didn’t want them to end!

My overall impression

Laura Wiley has done it again, with a fantastic parody of Sex and the City! I am a huge fan of the show, but you could go into this show not knowing a thing about it and still have a blast! The production is a prequel to Sex and the City, with poignant references to the show, but Wiley does an excellent job of keeping things fresh and smart for old fans and those new to that New York scene.I would love to see this made into a full-length musical, enhanced with a full set. This is a definite MUST-SEE at Fringe! Get tickets while you still can!
