Wiley once again displays her talent for casting truly believable character-look-alikes who can belt her songs and entertain an audience! Sherry Berg, coming off her slayer role as Sarah Michelle Gellar aka. Buffy in Wiley’s “Buffy Kills Edward” transformed into another 3 name Sarah as an uncanny sassy Carrie Bradshaw! Alli Miller is a brilliant Samantha and crowd pleaser! Her and Amanda Hootman’s (Charlotte) ease with improv and a crowd covered any preview hiccups and elevated the show. Emily Craig rounded out the perfect girl group with the straight (or not so straight wom)man, Miranda! The men were also a delight to watch and a great addition to the clear concise one-hour story! In addition to the songs, the choreography by Alli Miller and Cory Robinson makes the small stage feel like the Ahmanson Theatre!
What I didn't like
I could see this adding another 30 mins and going to New York!
My overall impression
Spot on parody of “Sex and the City” with power house songs! This is Laura Wiley’s best work! A fun, sexy, laugh out loud night for all genders, whether you have seen the source material or not! It left me wanting more!
