What I didn't like
A few cuts int he script, and more light on the stage.
My overall impression
David Shaughnessy was stunningly good! He did an impossible job, holding the audience all by himself for 80 minutes, going from one character to another without a breath between. I was overwhelmed by his vocal ability and talent! A few cuts from the author or director would make the script better; also I could have enjoyed a little more light on the stage. The subject matter is transitioning from the gender you were born with to the gender your emotions tell you you are, and how difficult it is to take that life-changing step. I was very moved by the play, especially Shaughnessy’s heroic performance.
