Jordan Klomp does justice to this material by presenting a complex character whose point of view may be abhorrent but must be understood if we are to move forward against gun violence and the mindsets which bring it about. The staging is powerful, with both performers looking out, as though to each other, and this alone is executed well enough to be worth your time. Great work all around.
What I didn't like
There were some moments of humor, one in particular, which was clearly designed to break up the heavy tension but the issue was that it was SO clearly DESIGNED that it was distracting rather than relieving. But I am literallly talking about one moment in this overall impressive piece.
My overall impression
Excellently performed by Klomp, with an engaging script covering difficult subject-matter with impressive (necessary) sophistication.
