What I liked

The creativity within the stark simplicity of the staging, imaginative direction, solid performances, and a timely and thought-provoking subject.

What I didn't like

While the production had great momentum, I felt as if the dialogue was a bit rushed at times, and would like to see the lead male character take more time, even if it meant saying fewer words.

My overall impression

GLITCH takes a hard disconcertingly intimate look into the twisted mind behind a tragedy. While news reports and screaming headlines abound about the horrors of mass shootings, this is an unusually intimate look at what’s behind the violence. The audience gets a front seat to the slippery slope of a corrupt mind, the struggle to maintain objectivty in journalism, and the curse of their co-dependence. A stark and inventive staging, compelling performances, and a satisfying twist at the play’s end.
