The use of the props was a really interesting surprise, something that I wasn’t expecting. I don’t want to give too much away here, you have to see it firsthand to understand.
What I didn't like
I thought that perhaps the voice of the Divine Mother could be a live character realized on stage. This voice plays such a big role in the life of Shairi, I found myself wanting to actually see her.
My overall impression
Phenomenal! This show was the miracle that my life needed at this time, truly. The mixture of poetry, music, artwork, and the props on stage really brought the story of Shairi to life. I found that at certain moments I was taken in by a line of poetry. Other moments it was a melody that captured me. Then additionally, the movement of the props made the whole show come together like a gift. Thank you so much SHATTERED GLASS, I hope more people can attend this fantastic event.
