What I liked

All aspects of the show, writing, direction, set/costume/sound design, and performances were compelling and artfully executed. The performances by the leads Lara Helena and Shelly West were captivating, I forgot I was in a theatre, except for the sound of sniffles as the final black out enveloped the stage.

What I didn't like

This piece was absolutely wonderful! I only wonder at the choice to cast white actors (as incredible as they were!) Because the show does not mention any race, it would be an amazing opportunity for Asian American actresses, or anyone. Not a critique, I hope this show continues on and maybe get liscenced to be produced across the world as an amazing story and opportunity for challenging female roles!

My overall impression

Artfully written and and performed! A beautiful and touching story live on stage of a broken relationship between a mother and daughter. This piece has longevity!
