What I liked
Man, Hans Gruber and the Snowman ☃️ stole the show for me. The whole cast was fantastic as well, and a special kudos to Wade for being a lovable badass and filling in the shoes of Bruce Willis well, with a nice wink.
Also I absolutely lost it during the “Daddy’s Shoe’s” part. Absolutely hilariously.
What I didn't like
Outside of some preview show technical glitches, not much. Occasionally it was hard to hear some of the actors sing over the music, specifically during the “Where are you Christmas part.”
Also, some of the jokes might go over ones head if they haven’t seen the original movie. It’s definitely not 100% nessisary, but it might be good for anyone seeing it see the original before going in.
My overall impression
This was definitely a fun show to see. From the wide range of slapstick and refferential humor, to some funny and creative choices to bring this parody to life, it was quite a show. Definitely would recommend to anyone who loves the original movie, or just loves Christmas.
