What I liked

The verbal sparring was constantly moving to new places and keeping me surprised and challenged. And the performances were excellent by this talented cast, my personal favorite work done by Julia Lisa, Dan Sugimoto, and an awesome, down-to-earth, human portrayal of Matt by Sam West.

What I didn't like

The lighting in Three Clubs isn’t always perfect, but hey, it’s a bar. :-)

My overall impression

Wow – not what I was expecting at all, which perfectly achieved its mission! The juxtaposition between the “small” and “big”, the “trivial” and the “pivotal”, the arguments no one wants to have publicly that we are all having privately, the uncomfortable truths and the hurtful untruths – this play is thought-provoking, challenging, darkly funny, and very expertly performed. See it!!
