What I liked

The overall story (I haven’t read the Cursed Child, so I couldn’t say if this improved on it or not), the actor that played young Malfoy was perfect.

What I didn't like

Some of the choreography was a little confusing and I didn’t really see what exactly happened during fight scenes – the amount of people was a little too much at times. I also wasn’t a fan of the Harry and Hermoiane affair plot line. It didn’t really add much and I felt wasn’t true to their original relationship in the books.

My overall impression

This show was so much fun, and felt wonderful to be back in the world of magic! Some of the actors stood out starkly from the others, but overall everyone did a great job telling this story. Transitions were quick and smooth, lighting accented the actions very well. It had a strong theme that is all too important right now – we must set aside all differences for the safety and sake of our children.
