What I liked

The masterful writing is the heart of the show and carries the soul of Harry Potter throughout, leaving fans and audience members with full hearts and teary eyes. The research that was done in order to make such a genuine Harry Potter satire and sequel was astounding. Every detail and relationship was understood, accounted for, and developed skillfully throughout the course of the show. Bravo!

What I didn't like

I would have enjoyed a more fully developed instrumental track for scenic transitions. The transitions that had music were fantastic and left me immersed in the show whereas transitions without music felt empty brought me out of the moment.

My overall impression

The writing in this show is absolutely incredible and the script speaks for itself. Worthen writes new, genuine characters into creation, and develops and stays true to your favorite Harry Potter characters, all while weaving in clever humor and pure magic. The cast is fantastic and paints a beautiful picture of how the next generation of Hogwarts wizards and witches grow and love in the ever-changing wizarding world.
