Anxiety Written was a witty, relatable and touching piece of theater. Jessica takes you on a journey that will make you giggle, make you nostalgically smile/grimace and make you nearly cry (twice or three times). ...

Gripping theatre and just overall great storytelling. Personal, fascinating, poignant, thought provoking. Not only does it cover mental illness and OCD/anxiety, it’s also about growing up and coming to terms with fear and the world as we know it. Also a wonderful arc, you experience the growth and realizations as the character does. Love, love, loved it. ...

Beautiful acted and incredibly written. It's an experience I am glad I was able to share with such a wonderful crowd. Completely relateable and honest. ...

Carleton knows that by telling her own story, audience members will hear their own story in her words. But it is the journey she shares with us that becomes deeply moving and hilarious at the same time as we follow her through the struggles and triumphs of treatment which lead her to real emotional change and the ability to consider others her "friends." She is a masterful storyteller, and you will walk away knowing that we all struggle with something which makes us human. After all, if you think you don't have OCD, just how many times do you check to be sure you turned on the car alarm or locked your front door w...
