This is an actress who is emotionally available, open, free, and in total control at the same time. Wonderful. ... full review

This is a show you should definitely see! Jessica is an incredible writer and performer. She hooks in the audience and commands the stage with her presence, while opening up and sharing her personal story in a heartfelt way. It seemed like everyone in the audience was moved by this performance. This show is the real deal!... full review

Anxiety Written was a witty, relatable and touching piece of theater. Jessica takes you on a journey that will make you giggle, make you nostalgically smile/grimace and make you nearly cry (twice or three times). ... full review

Anxiety Written is one of my very favorite things I've seen at Fringe. Jess lets her audience in on a tremendous uphill battle with humor, grace, and raw emotion.... full review

Jessica’s work in this piece, as both writer and actress, is spellbinding. Plays within plays unfold with utter ease, painting a uniquely cathartic portrait of a perfectly imperfect mind. From infuriating stories of schoolyard anxiety, to hilarious psychotherapeutic minutia, to deeply honest self-realizations and healings that left me outright bawling, this is a seemingly simple play that sets a sky-high bar for the proverbial “one woman show.” Wonderfully directed as well! Bravo!... full review

I truly enjoyed this show. Although some might conceivably be wary of a one-person play concerning anxiety disorders (which in different hands might be overly self-indulgent or uncomfortable for the audience), "Anxiety Written" is uplifting and engaging. Jessica shares her story with bold emotional honesty while maintaining a lively, humorous commentary throughout. If you are someone who deals with anxiety in some form, you are sure to be inspired and encouraged by a kindred spirit. If you are seeking to understand the experience of others with anxiety (which everyone should!) this is a great opportunity.... full review
