What I liked
The way Laura weaved the story of her youth and the dynamic of her family (especially the complicated personality of her mother) while punctuating the various stages of her life with performances of her brilliant songs was so entertaining. I have to use similar adjectives that other audience members will no doubt use to describe the show…funny, emotional, clever, mesmerizing and uniquely indelible. Laura’s comfort on stage and “heart on her sleeve” personality pulled us all into her world. And what a world!
What I didn't like
Nothing…it was a fun show.
My overall impression
What a treat watching Laura Coyle perform her show “A Piece Of Work”. She was captivating from the first moment she walked on stage.
