Laura Coyle's story was thoroughly entertaining from the moment she began until the last note. The show was poignant, funny, and provocative. The audience was skillfully brought into the world that is Laura and we really got a sense of what it was like in that Connecticut house where she grew up. Stories of hope, disillusionment, mental illness, sexuality, love, and betrayal were artfully shared without ever bleeding into self-indulgence. Coyle and the show's director Mari Weiss triumphed and I'm sure somewhere in the multiverse, Laura's parents are proud of their wonderfully talented daughter. ... full review

A wonderful show, a real emotional roller-coaster that has you laughing out loud one moment and quiet the next as Laura expertly takes you on the journey of her unique childhood and upbringing, the characters that populated it and the stories that shaped the person she became.... full review

Such an amazing show! Laura's life story is so fascinating and full of color and the addition of her music really made the show come together. I found myself captivated the entire time and was honestly shocked when the show ended because it didn't feel like 90 mins had gone by. ... full review

With Mari Weiss' excellent direction and dramaturgy, Laura Coyle shines her irrepressible and soulful self over us in a moving, delightful and poignant one-woman show. Laura's charm and tremendous talent are the foundation beneath these beautiful songs and succinct life-story-telling. You will most definitely laugh and you will likely cry (in the good way) and ultimately you will fall in love with Laura.... full review

Hey! Real talent! Wow... Awe inspiring original music accompanied with angelic vocal range accompanied with incredible story telling abilities had me tearing up and laughing at the same time.
