What I liked

The emotional arc is strong with this show. You don’t have to know a lot about D&D, but if you do you’ll get a few in-jokes. You’ll come out of the show feeling warm & fuzzy! All of the characters are fun, and it’s great to see them come into their roles in the party. Nicoletta Brunelli in particular stands out for her performance. She carries the earnestness, vulnerability, humor, and epicness of the show so well.

What I didn't like

I feel like the length and pace could have been tightened up. I felt that most of the set and prop aspects took away from the immersion, and feel like this version of the script might work better with a higher budget.

My overall impression

A fun, heartwarming quest through the woods, with poignant undercurrents of loss and family (both found and biological).
