My overall impression

CAVEAT: I’m a friend and collaborator with this group and am reviewing as such, not in an official capacity with Gia On The Move.

Unknown Artists and Ruckus Rockwell did it again. RUNAWAY CLONE is a tight, laugh-out-loud musical comedy with well- crafted characters, a seamless plot, and inspired writing – both book and music. All of the performances are on fire, but Pam Quinn’s evil doctor shines with comedic brilliance. Scott Golden delivers a touching performance and a monologue I am jealous that I didn’t write/perform. Emily Clark’s sexy snark is on display again, thank theatre gods, and Peter Carrier and Jeff Scott Carey nail dopey comedy. Katherine Washington’s performance of the titular character is funny and sweetly powerful and Lucas Alifano is….. ok, look, Im just basically listing the whole cast and how everybody brought the thunder. Hete’s what I’m saying: See. This. See it now.
