What I liked

The writing was flawless and the characters very compelling. I appreciated seeing a young Muslim woman as a fully rounded character.

What I didn't like

I was a bit confused by the choice to have the gentleman helping one of the characters put on the costume on stage and then disappearing to never be seen again. I think I understand it was a logistics choice but i wish it was more justified.

My overall impression

Excellently written play that weaves so well the stories of 2 women seemingly far apart in history, yet with many parallels. Outstanding and deeply moving performances. The message is very relevant for our times.
