Though on a minimal stage, the skilled acting and smart choreography paint vivid pictures of the stories the two main characters told. The story is tense and difficult, but also enthralling, and takes on two points of view that not everyone would know about.
What I didn't like
The end with the burka and lights seemed unnecessary, the setup was mostly distracting and not needed – didn’t fit with the rest of the show.
My overall impression
The talented actresses in this haunting play tell a powerful tale about how for some women, not much has changed in the course of history.
